Sweet Kathleen and the Vieux Carré Band is steeped in the Louisiana tradition with upbeat jazz and low down blues.
Ignite your parties, brunches and weddings with fun and excitement into a memorable occasion. We have a wedding package consisting of a pre-ceremony cocktail party, a selection of Jewish, Catholic or Protestant repertoire for the ceremony, usually three musicians, and the Dixieland and variety excerpts for the reception, from five to seven musicians depending on repertoire choices. You also may opt to have us for just the reception. Other types of events are welcome as well. For corporate functions, we can plan around your cocktail parties, dinners and speakers. And, don’t forget Mardi Gras and Christmas!
Listen to our LIVE groups – solo (piano/vocal), trio, or a five to seven piece band. These may all affect our repertoire, so please consult with your preferences of music genres. Listen to Albums for all Dixieland Jazz, Excerpts for Dixieland, Rhythm & Blues, Swing and some Cajun.
